  • 2009 Heritage Award for the re-design of the historic Chase Mill at Tracy Aviary, Utah's oldest remaining industrial building

  • 1999 Environmental Achievement Award US EPA for educating the public about environmental issues through the Utah Society for Environmental Education Newsletter
  • 1994 AIA Research Award for the Life Cycle Wheel for Construction and Demolition Debris, developed in partnership with Wesley Groesbeck of Environmental Resources, Inc. The Wheel outlines ethical actions that architects and other building professionals, as well as government leaders and individuals, can follow in managing C&D debris
